As part of our science unit, students will be hatching and raising chicks while exploring how traits are passed from parents to offspring. While the science students are busy with that side of operations, Mrs. Barnette's art students will be creating the graphics for our updates. Follow along for updates, fun facts, and adorable chick photos! We’d love for you to engage, ask questions, and learn with us. 🐥

Students in Colleton County say youth gun violence is causing an increasing amount of fear in their community. Sunday afternoon, February 2, 2025, at the Colleton County Civic Center, the community came together to fight gun violence through a prayer vigil called “Lifting Our Voices In Unity.” The event was organized by student organizations ‘Sisters In Action’, ‘Ladies In Excellence’ and ‘Boyz 2 Men.' Thank you to everyone that came to support our students.
