On Friday, October 3, 2025, district-level staff visited Northside Elementary School to celebrate Colleton County School District's success on state assessments. Specifically, having the second highest growth in ELA in the State of South Carolina. District staff members joined classrooms to read with and talk to students, while Northside teachers enjoyed a 20-minute break with snacks and a coffee bar provided by the Office of Student Nutrition.
Superintendent Williams stated, "This celebration is just the beginning -- district staff will continue visiting schools throughout the year to recognize and celebrate success across CCSD!"
